The border between Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe and Livingstone, Zambia will be closed temporarily from the evening of 6 July until the morning of 7 July 2019.
The border will be closing due to the Annual Econet Victoria Falls Marathon, which will also result in full road closure on the designated marathon route from 6 am until 11 am on the morning of the 7th. The border will be closed from 10 pm on the 6th, and will reopen after 9 am the next morning. Absolutely no one will be allowed to travel over the border during this time, not even on foot.
